Templo Mayor
On February 21, 1978, workers of the Light company were making deep excavations at the corner of Guatemala and Venus streets in Mexico City when a large stone prevented them from continuing their work. It was a large circular sculpture that showed the goddess Coyolxauhqui. Under the metropolitan cathedral of Mexico City, there are hidden centuries of history. That same space, since the Aztec Empire, has been the political, religious and economic center of the Mexicans. What have archaeologists found under Mexico´s Historical Center?
